Voxelmap Mod 1.16/1.15.2 and 1.14.4 for Minecraft – Open world games are here to stay, those days when platform games ruled the market are over, and for a perfect couple of reasons; open world games give much more content, freedom, and possibilities.

The concept of open world games is still relatively new, and some games execute this concept very good, but there is a crucial element missing. Minecraft is one of the most popular games of its generation, but given that it’s a vast world, it’s a shame that there is no minimap to give the player a sense of location. That’s where the VoxelMap Mod comes in.

Are you tired of finding, say, a right mining place or a location underwater and know that it will be hard to see it again? This mod comes in very handy when it’s time to place marks on places of interest, knowing if there are players or enemies nearby. Do you want to see how the VoxelMap Mod can help you? Keep reading.

What is the VoxelMap Mod?

The VoxelMap Mod 1.16, originally Zan’s minimap; a well-known minimap created by Zaneris is an in-game minimap, that is set on the top right corner of the player’s screen. Showing the player his location with coordinates, it displays mobs, player’s icons, waypoints, and a handy cave-mode, excellent for underground exploration.

How does the VoxelMap mod works?

The minimap is displayed on the top right corner of the screen; the player can choose the size, there are three sizes to choose from, small, medium and large. There is the option to have to map display like a square or like a circle. The player can make precise adjustments, so the VoxelMap shows what the user wants it to show.

Waypoints

One of its best features has to be the waypoints, when you find yourself in a point of interest, save the coordinates and chose the display of the waypoint. Moreover, the waypoints can be displayed per multiverse world if the server is running voxelPlugin. Waypoints can be edited, added or removed at any time, the simple and easy-to-use user interface is appreciated.

The Minecraft world is pretty big; the VoxelMap helps give the player a sense of location by displaying at every moment the exact coordinates of where the player is.

Furthermore, this mod is a favorite among gamers who love to explore every corner available to them, thanks to its waypoints that provide a sense of relief by knowing that the place just found will be remembered.

In SP, if the correct commands are enabled, or in MP if sufficient permissions are given, the user can teleport to any waypoint, speeding up the gameplay and being much more time-efficient.
