What is the Lucky Block Mod?

The Lucky Block Mod 1.18/1.17.1 adds in two different kinds of blocks, lucky blocks and unlucky blocks, each block when open will drop a reward based on how lucky the block is. The Lucky Block Mod also allows players to craft their own lucky or unlucky blocks, excellent to joke around with some friends.

The Lucky Block Mod main goal is to give another use to the gold ingots since players might find themselves with hundreds of them; they can now use them to craft lucky blocks. The more gold nuggets you put into a lucky block, the better the chances you get a great reward.

The Lucky Block Mod also adds in weapons for lucky blocks, like lucky swords which have different stats from other swords, players who love combat would love to give the lucky sword a try along with other neat weapons and armor.

Luck Levels

Blocks have a certain luck level, luck levels go from 0 to 100 on lucky blocks, and from 0 to -100 on unlucky blocks. For lucky blocks, there higher the luck level the better the reward will be, for unlucky blocks, the lower the luck level, the more dangerous the award will be.

The Lucky Block Mod can also bring mayhem to your Minecraft world, random lucky blocks that you randomly find spread across the land can have useful items or harmful enemies, traps, and explosions. Be very careful when opening said blocks when you craft a lucky block, you know if it’s a lucky one or an unlucky one when you find one, you don’t know what lies inside.

To make a lucky block even luckier, you can add some of the following items; diamonds, diamond block, emerald block, gold ingot, gold block, iron ingot, iron block, golden apple, enchanted golden apple, nether star.

Unlucky Blocks

Unlucky blocks can spawn giant enemies or very creative traps that will give you a hard time if you don’t act fast enough, some enemies drop good rewards, and sometimes unlucky blocks might even have useful items, it’s always a mystery.

To make an unlucky block even more unlucky, some items that you can add are rotten flesh, spider eye, fermented spider eye, poisonous potato, and puffer fish.

How do you install Lucky Block Mod 1.18/1.17.1?

Follow the next couple of steps to install the Lucky Block Mod:

1. Make sure you have already installed the Minecraft Forge 1.18/1.17.1.
2. Locate the Minecraft application folder.
3. Move the mod you have downloaded (.jar file or litemod) into the Mods folder.
4. When Minecraft is launched go ahead and click the mods button, you should now see the Lucky Block Mod installed.
